Quinquagesima Sunday

With today being “Quinquagesima” (one of my most favorite of ecclesiastical words to say!) Sunday, it’s time to look to Ash Wednesday this week, followed by our Friday Night Stations of the Cross and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.

Ash Wednesday, March 5th

11:00 AM - 11:50 AM Confessions
12:00 Noon - Mass of the Day
1:00 PM - 2:00 PM Confessions
5:00 - 5:50 PM Confessions
6:00 PM - Mass of the Day

Fridays in Lent

Friday, March 7th 1st Friday in Lent
12 Noon - Mass of the Day
1:00 PM - Adoration and Exposition
4:00 PM - 4:50 PM - Confessions
5:00 PM - Closing with Hymns
5:10 PM - 5:55 PM - Confessions
6:00 PM - Stations of the Cross followed by
Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament
Knights of Columbus Fish Fry follows

Wednesdays 11:00 AM - 11:55 AM
Fridays 4:00 PM - 4:50 PM, 5:10 PM—5:55 PM

Please read your copy of “Making My Lenten Rule” in your bulletins today - don’t wait until the last minute. Perhaps in addition to giving up something for Lent, you might consider taking on some new ministry at the church. The Altar Guild, Altar Boys, Ushers, Flower Guild, Choirs (adult, youth and cherub) and Knights of Columbus are eager to welcome new members! Please contribute to the 2025 “Bishop’s Appeal” Envelopes located in the Narthex, and help our church meet our 2025 goal.
